RTPI is the UK’s leading planning body for spatial, sustainable and inclusive planning. At over 24,000 members, it’s the largest planning institute in Europe and relies on a network of regional committees to deliver its work.
The brand was lacking cohesion and any consistency in application – a sure sign for any brand that it needs urgent attention. RTPI asked us to undertake a brand exercise to strip the brand down and build it back up again. We rationalised the brand architecture and refreshed the visual identity to make sure it would work much harder for all regions and provide greater flexibility for creative application in use across all touch points.
The architecture and framework now in place is agile and fluid to allow the brand to grow – within it we have recently developed the identity for a new sub-brand, RTPI Training, that launched in Summer 2017.
