Brand Strategist

Design Culture is looking for an experienced Brand Strategist to join our team.

You will be a key member of our team delivering projects to a wide range of clients within our specialist sectors – Education, Healthcare, Charity & Culture. Reporting to the two company Directors.

Tasks

  • Conduct market research, including interviews and running focus groups, analysing competitors and market trends, and developing customer personas
  • Develop brand strategies, including the positioning, value proposition, brand idea and personality
  • Develop communication strategies, including determining which messages and channels to reach the audience with, and developing content and marketing calendars in line with this
  • Develop digital strategies that utilise SEO, content and social media to create inbound leads and improve engagement
  • Write compelling messaging that supports the brand and communication strategies, that can be developed into copy
  • Run client workshops to gather insight, get feedback on and input into projects, and bring the organisation on board with a proposed approach
  • Respond to tenders, including identifying the organisations needs, and developing a plan for how to best meet them
  • Lead the strategic delivery of the agency’s larger brand, campaign and digital projects, ensuring that delivery is on time, within budget, and in line with the agreed strategy

Required skills

  • A strong understanding of strategic marketing principles
  • Experience in conducting and interpreting market research
  • Experience in planning, leading, and managing strategic brand and communication projects
  • Clear and compelling written communication
  • Confident and engaging verbal presentation

Preferred skills

  • An understanding of digital and SEO strategy
  • Creative copywriting skills
  • A degree in Marketing, or another relevant field
