We work with the BBC on a wide range of projects including invitations, brochures, posters, leaflets, flyers, folders, stickers, large format graphics, postcards, web graphics, support materials and pdf factsheets. Whether working with a template or a more open brief our challenge is to make the design work within the BBC’s brand guidelines and for each individual project.

BBC Comedy website
The BBC website holds a great deal of content and is structured around a set framework. Each section must work within that framework, but have it’s own clear identity. We worked with the BBC to create a look and feel for the comedy section of their website that would clearly delineate comedy and encapsulate the wide range of material available from current programming to archive material and across the various formats of TV, radio and online.

The graphics needed to capture the noise and movement associated with comedy via static imagery. We created a collage style with large mouth and hand icons to convey the energy of comedy and used a range of colourways to signpost the different areas within the comedy section, such as the archive or the ‘extra’ pages. The style is easily adaptable for future content.
