Design Culture were commissioned to design the NICE stand, the focal point of the Annual Conference. Our brief was to find a fresh approach to create a stand that would be a hub for interactivity and discussion which was approachable and accessible to delegates. We simplified the messaging introducing key statements supported by illustration to convey the defining principles of NICE’s work.

NICE campaign messaging

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is a national organisation which provides guidance on the most effective ways to prevent, diagnose and treat disease and ill health. Every year, NICE holds its Annual Conference at the ICC in Birmingham. Attracting over 1500 delegates from the NHS, local government and life sciences industry, the Conference is a two day event comprising a programme of plenary presentations and streamed sessions, plus a large exhibition space where stakeholders could exhibit.

Design Culture did a complete redesign of our exhibition stand at our flagship annual conference this year. We were really pleased with the way they worked with us to develop a design concept to support our aims for the event. The Design Culture team were a pleasure to work with. Their striking illustrations really helped to carry our key messages at the event, and the stand looked great!
